A Big Thank You from the Fort Mason Printmakers!
Thanks to everybody that came out the the 36th Annual Holiday Print Exhibition and Sale at Fort Mason. It was a wonderful event, and it could've have happened without the support and enthusiasm of all that participated and attended.
There is now a Fort Mason Printmakers site up at MESART. You can check out many of participating artists and photos from the event. In addition, you can even purchase prints online, in case you were unable to attend this last weekend.

Accepted into the 50-50 Show!
After weeks and weeks of anticipation I have just been accepted into the Sanchez Art Center's Second Annual 50-50 Show. This means that beginning May 17 and ending July 5, 2010, I will be on a mission to create 50 small works over the course of 50 days. This is a special opportunity for me, since I have recently found my creative juices rolling on hyperdrive. I have hundreds of sketches, and literally a hundred more ideas floating around in my head, just waiting for an opportunity to leap into existence. My theme for the these 50 days will be "Rising Tides and Crumbling Coastlines", which we be a continuation into my already deep fascination with natural disasters and the ecological state of the world. Each piece will be 6" x 6", and I intend to post my progress on my deviantART page. So stay tuned!
The grand opening is Friday, July 30, 6-10pm at the Sanchez Art Center in Pacifica, CA.

Big Thanks!!!
Thanks to everyone who came out and participated in the 2009 Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race. I'd especially like to thank those who bought raffle tickets for my original schooner painting. Together we helped raise nearly $600 for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. I couldn't have done it without you. See you next year when the Schooner Race turns 21!
To check out race results and other information about the Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race visit www.schoonerrace.org.
P.S. If anyone has a photograph of my schooner painting from this year, let me know!
